I’m Ruth. I’m a 30-something woman living in the North of England, and I’m just a little bit obsessed with all things wedding related.

Since getting engaged a little over a year ago, I realised that I had far more questions that answers. How would I even start finding the perfect venue for our big day? How could we make our money go further, and have the day we dreamed of without plunging ourselves into ridiculous amounts of debt? And would my own wedding ever look anything like the dreamy set-ups that I’d seen on Pinterest?

So I got down to doing some research. I scoured the bridal magazines for tips and inspiration. I read all the best blogs. I asked friends and family for advice based on their own experiences. I found a lot of great information out there, but I also found plenty that totally missed the mark.

That’s when King of Hearts was born.

And I’m so pleased that you’re here.¬†

I’ve learned a lot, and I want to share it all with you to help you to create a wedding that you’ll love, without blowing your budget or driving yourself crazy along the way.

Why King of Hearts? Hold tight, because this is where we might get a little bit cheesy… My love of weddings is all down to the fact that I found my Mr Right, and looking forward to our married life together. He is the king of my heart, and without him, this UK wedding blog wouldn’t exist!

If you have a product or a service that’s a great fit for my readers, then I’m happy to discuss advertising with you.
